April Fools Day!
April Fool's Day has been around since the 16th century when the pope moved the New Years Day from April 1st to January 1st. April Fool's started when some authority figures would send other people on "fool's errands". The tradition of fooling people has carried up all the way to today, and I am sure it will not end anytime soon. My parents would always play pranks on my siblings and myself when we were younger by telling us that school was cancelled or delayed because of some problem the school was having. Turns out it never was cancelled or delayed, and sometimes we would get so upset we would cry. We got smarter as we grew older and started playing pranks on my parents. Some companies even get in on the fun on this day of jokes, take for example the Buttefinger candy bar changed it's name, because they did not like the name butterfinger anymore because it meant sloppy. I hope everyone gets a good prank pulled on them today or is the one doing the prank, either way just have a fun day today! Happy April's Fool Day!
