Super Bowl 43

Growing up my mom would always have this huge super bowl party. She would invite all of our family and friends over for the whole day on Super Bowl Sunday, every single year. The adults would sit around having drinks while the kids usually went outside and played in the snow, it was always a lot of fun. Then once the game would start my mom would bring out all these snacks and we would sit around and watch the game, well the kids were usually running around doing something that actually interested them. As the years went on more and more people actually sat down and watched the game instead of running around and playing games.
I never missed my mom's marvelous super bowl parties, I never missed that is until I moved to college. It's kind of hard to drive 18 hours for one day just to watch the game. Last year was my first year that I was not around all my friends and family for the game. Luckily I had my friends here and I threw a party for them. I got all the food my mom would get for the party, well most of the food anyway, and I made it for everyone. It was a lot of fun, watching the Giants beat the Pats. This year was nothing like the years in the past. For most of the game I watched by myself folding clothes or doing homework, it might have been the worst one yet of all the years. Not to mention the two teams that were playing are my least favorite teams in the league. I am just hoping that next year will be more exciting to watch, and maybe I won't be swamped with clothes and laundry!
