Hello everyone! My name is Katherine McRoberts, I usually go by Katie. I am originally from Indiana, I came down here a few years ago to swim for the college team. I then transferred to University of Kentucky to continue my education and swimming career, unfortunately somethings did not work out. The coach at IRSC called me and asked me if I was interested in helping coach the club team at Indian River as well as the college team; of course I was very excited and took the job. So, here I am back in Florida trying to finish my degree while doing what I love, coaching. I am taking this class because I am an education major and thought it might be a good idea to learn a little bit more about technology for learning.
I am not married and I have no kids. My boyfriend lives in Tampa and is a grad student at the University of Tampa. I hate being away from him but we see each other every weekend. My hobbies are swimming, reading, and being outside. I love anything that involves the outdoors. Other than that I don't really have much else to say. The college team is looking strong and we are looking forward to brining home another National Title on both the men's and women's team come March!
